Spaces and SpaceLab overview

The difference between Spaces (run ready-made workflows) and SpaceLab (build your own).

Spaces and SpaceLab are two connected surfaces in ShopOS, not one feature. Spaces is where your team runs ready-made AI workflows built for ecommerce to produce content. SpaceLab is where you can build your own workflows.

The analogy: Spaces is the store. SpaceLab is the kitchen where the recipes are made.

What Spaces is

Spaces are pre-built, structured AI workflows that anyone on your team can run to produce content. You fill a short form, hit run, and get a finished output. No prompting skill needed.

  1. Open Spaces from the main navigation.
  2. Browse the ShopOS library (curated Spaces for common ecommerce jobs) or Your Spaces (custom ones your team built in SpaceLab).
  3. Pick the Space for the job you need done.
  4. Fill in the form. What it asks for depends on the Space; a product photo Space might just ask for an image and a style, nothing more.
  5. Click Run, then download, share, or push the result straight to a channel.

Every run applies your Brand Memory automatically: tone of voice, visual style, colors. Two different people running the same Space get the same quality output, since nothing depends on who happens to write the best prompt.

Examples of what you can build

  • Video: a product demo reel from one static photo, a UGC-style testimonial, a before/after transformation clip, a vertical social cut sized for Reels or TikTok
  • Static ads: a Meta feed ad with headline and CTA already composed, a multi-angle carousel set, a Display banner pack resized across every standard dimension, a seasonal re-skin of an existing creative
  • Catalog: bulk background standardization, upscaling, size charts, bundle shots, across your whole catalog, images and video both, in one batch pass instead of SKU by SKU
  • Marketing: carousels, launch sequences, contest graphics, UGC reposts, and affiliate kits, images and video both, built once and reused across every channel you run

What SpaceLab is

SpaceLab is a visual, no-code canvas for building a custom Space from scratch, for when the job you need done isn't covered by anything in the library.

You'd reach for SpaceLab if your brand runs a specific, repeatable, multi-step workflow and no single existing Space covers it end to end. Example: "take a raw product photo, remove the background, place it on a lifestyle scene, then add three ad headlines in our brand voice."
