Using references to guide results

References help ShopOS understand the style, tone, or visual direction you’re aiming for.
They reduce guesswork and make results closer to what you have in mind.
A reference doesn’t get copied exactly, it guides the direction.
Steps
- Upload or attach a reference image or asset directly in the chat, or add it in the Space Manager when prompted.
- Enter your prompt or fill in structured fields.
- Generate.
You can use one or multiple references depending on the task.
References are especially useful for
- maintaining a specific style
- keeping visuals aligned with your brand
- showing layout or composition ideas
- giving visual inspiration
What happens next
ShopOS uses the reference to guide the variations while still exploring different directions.
You can then refine or regenerate to move closer to the result you want.
Tip
Use references when describing style feels difficult in words.
A good reference often improves results faster than a longer prompt.
