Quickstart: Review your ad performance
Step-by-step guide to reviewing your first ad performance dashboard.
Updated July 19, 2026
Most first sessions with Performance Marketing start by reviewing performance on an account that's already running, not launching from zero. This covers that path, plus what's confirmed about launching new campaigns.
Before you start
- Connected at least one ad account (Meta and/or Google)
Review your ad performance
- Open Performance Marketing from the Agents list, then Meta Ads (or Google Ads) under Dashboards.
- Pick your ad account and date range at the top.
- Check Top Ads: your best performers, sortable by ROAS, Spend, or CPA. Each card shows status (Active/Paused), ROAS, Spend, CPA, CTR, and Orders at a glance.
- Below that, switch between Campaign, Ad Set, and Ad level tables for the full metric set: Spend, Impressions, Clicks, CPM, CTR, CPC, CVR, ATC, Purchases, Revenue.
- Select one or more rows to bring up a summary bar (aggregate spend, average ROAS) with an Ask Gavin button scoped to that exact selection.
If a dashboard shows an error instead of loading (for example, an HTTP 502), click Retry. This is a transient load issue, not a sign anything is broken with your account.
What to do next
- Turn on Monitoring so you're not manually re-checking this dashboard every day.
