Understanding the performance dashboard
How to read channel dashboards, the Catalog Dashboard, Top Ads, and campaign tables.
Updated July 19, 2026
Performance Marketing reports through several distinct views, not one dashboard. This covers all of them.
Channel dashboards
Each connected channel gets its own dashboard under Dashboards: Meta Ads, Google Ads, Shopify. Pick your ad account and date range at the top of any of them.
The Catalog Dashboard
Under Catalog > Dashboard, this reports on Advantage+ style, per-product catalog ad performance specifically, separate from your general channel dashboards:
- Catalog Ad Spend
- Catalog Revenue
- Blended ROAS
- Wasted Ad Spend
- Total Ad Spend (Meta only)
- Total Purchase
- Website Revenue (Shopify, store-wide, not limited to catalog ads)
Website Revenue is store-wide Shopify revenue, not catalog-ad-attributed revenue. Don't read it as "revenue from catalog ads"; it's the whole store's number, shown alongside catalog metrics for context.
Large catalogs can take up to a minute to load the first time; this is expected, not a stall.
Reading Top Ads
Every channel dashboard leads with Top Ads, your best performers, sortable by ROAS, Spend, or CPA. Each card shows status (Active/Paused), ROAS, Spend, CPA, CTR, and Orders.
Reading the campaign/ad set/ad table
Below Top Ads, switch between Campaign, Ad Set, and Ad level views. Columns: Spend, Impressions, Clicks, CPM, CTR, CPC, CVR, ATC, Purchases, Revenue. Select rows to get an aggregate summary (total spend, average ROAS for the selection) and an Ask Gavin button scoped to exactly what you selected.
